Car Camp’n by Moonlight

we’re hella hard when it comes to camping. the stars were almost as bright as the full moon. I love the look of the moonlight on skin. It’s the perfect diffuser.

Fading Fences

Lake Henshaw fades away… I can’t believe this lake used to fill this area, now theres about 1/10 of it left. I’d make my way to view another lost natural resource, human consumption isn’t pretty.

truck-a-pot-a-must!

I love my little finds of the desert. Everywhere I look, there’s something intriguing me, calling my name. I think the holes from the 12 gauge shot gun are comforting to me, in an East Texas sort of way. Ah how my childhood was deranged. Learning how to shoot shotguns at age 4. My daddy laughing as the butt of the gun hit my shoulder, and my ass hit the ground. I miss those times.

Coyote Canyon by Moonlight

How beautiful a full moon can light up the canyon. I was lucky enough to remember my camera!

Orange Fields Forever

On our Friday drive home from the desert, I found this gem.
Shoot em up!
Round Midnight

As the sun set and the warmth faded, the full moon took it’s place high over Coyote Canyon. The winds kick up and the wildlife emerge. The cool colors of the night contradict the hot glow of the daytime.

Moonrise Over Coyote Canyon

The full moonrise in Borrego Springs was amazing. Shooting the moon while the sun’s warmth was still obvious, it’s like having cake and eating it too.
